Speaking to Capital, Snoop Dogg said: "I know not to wear [footballing jerseys] in their enemy territory.
"Well, I didn't know that in the beginning. When I first started coming out here, I think I wore a Manchester United [jacket] and I was in Liverpool and they was like 'what the f*ck are you doing? Take that jacket off!'"
DID YOU KNOW?
North went on to give the rapper a Burnley shirt, and told him he can wear it as long as he is not in Blackburn, where the Clarets' arch rivals are based. Snoop Dogg laughed and said: "Damn. See I hate when y'all do that, giving me jerseys! You're all worse than gang members!" The rapper will be keen to avoid any more Lancashire-based footballing disasters.
