Scott Hogan has been speaking to RTE about his future at Aston Villa.
The 27-year-old has been with Villa since January 2017 – scoring 10 times in 61 appearances for the club in all competitions.
The forward ended the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Sheffield United, though, after being deemed surplus to requirements by Villa boss Dean Smith.
Hogan has said that he will work hard during pre-season in a bid to secure a spot at Villa next term. However, the forward is prepared to move on if that is not the case.
The Villa fans have been on social media reacting to Hogan’s comments and it would be fair to say that there are differing opinions on what should happen.
Indeed, whilst there are those who want the attacker to be given the chance to prove his worth, others believe that he is simply not good enough.
