Following Nashville SC's hard-fought 2-1 victory over CF Montréal, midfielder Edvard Sandvik Tagseth approached the stands and engaged in an unusual trade with a young supporter. The Norwegian player exchanged his game-worn jersey for the fan's Rayquaza Pokémon trading card, much to the delight of onlookers at GEODIS Park.

The fan’s father posted that his son had realized that the midfielder was a Pokemon fan and asked him who’s his favorite was during Nashville’s game against Portland. Tagseth responded Rayquaza. They then made a second sign for the clash against CF Montreal, which eventually led to the exchange between the two.

Following Nashville SC’s win over CF Montreal, the club have now won two in a row and as a result have moved up to fourth place on the Eastern Conference table with 10 points.
They host FC Cincinnati next at the Geodis Park on March 29 before going back on the road to face Charlotte FC on April 5.
