Ziyech, who spent three seasons at Stamford Bridge before heading to Turkey in 2023, experienced an embarrassing moment for Galatasaray on Saturday in a 1-0 win at Bodrumspor as he failed to push the ball into an empty net from eight yards away. Napoli loanee Victor Osmihen won the ball and made a brilliant run down the middle before squaring the ball towards the Moroccan winger. The 31-year-old just had to convert a simple tap-in but he instead blasted the ball above the crossbar.

10 minutes before Ziyech's ridiculous miss in the 64th minute, another former Blues star, Michy Batshuayi scored the opener which eventually secured all three points for the Turkish Super Lig giants. With the win, Galatasaray managed to maintain their five-point lead over Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce in the league table.
